For the control of various applications like compressors, pumps, hooters etc., these electrical contact pressure gauges are to be used. The selection criteria for the contacts shall depend on either increasing or decreasing pressure. Inductive contacts operate without physical contact and thus have no unfavorable effects on the pressure measuring system. However the usage of control unit along with booster relay is advisable where the load current is more than 1 Amperes. The resistive contacts are selected for controlling linear elements.
